Auskick and Kangakick

Footy modified for Children (5-13 years old)

Welcome to Auskick, the ultimate introduction to Australian Rules Football for kids! Designed for boys and girls aged 5 to 12, our program focuses on teaching fundamental movement skills—like catching, kicking, agility, and teamwork—in a safe, non-contact, and high-energy environment.

No experience is required, and your child does not need to be a superstar athlete to have a blast. Our certified coaches focus entirely on personal improvement, active play, and making sure every kid leaves with a smile.

Strictly Non-Contact

We prioritize safety above all else. Our modified junior rules ensure that every drill, game, and activity is completely non-contact.

Building Active Confidence

Because almost no Canadian kids grow up playing Aussie Rules, everyone starts at the exact same level. This removes the pressure often found in other youth sports, allowing children to build genuine confidence, master new skills at their own pace, and thrive in a highly encouraging team environment.

The Ultimate Crossover Sport

Footy is a hidden superpower for young athletes. The catching, continuous running, and 360-degree awareness they learn with the Blues will give them a massive edge when they return to soccer pitches, basketball courts, or hockey rinks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do parents need to stay at the field? Yes, we require at least one parent or guardian to remain at the park during the session. In fact, we love it when parents put on running shoes and help out with the fun drills!

What if my child has never played any sports before? Auskick is specifically designed to be an entry point for sports. Our coaches are trained to adapt drills so every child can participate and find success at their own level.
