The Central Blues opened their 2022 season with an amazing win over the Ottawa Swans on Saturday. After a back and forth battle in the first few minutes of the first quarter, the Blues were able to overpower the swans, kicking a total of 14 goals and 17 behinds. The forwards and midfielders moved the ball well, hit the contests hard, and were fearless kicking for goals. The Backline were strong and aggressive, making it difficult for the Swans to get by. It was a challenge with the hot weather and 10 players a side, but the Blues showed heart and fought hard until the end. A special thank you to Lara Hilmi and Amanda Smith from the Etobicoke Kangaroos for playing with us!
